I’m not always the best at coming up for titles for things, least of all poetry. Hence another untitled piece this week.
Two worlds once one
Separated by opportunity
Yet a heart remains
Icarus yearns ever for his precious Sunshine
as he crashes into the deep
Praying
Loving
Drowning
The dichotomy of human nature
The brain versus the heart
Accept the two worlds
Or crave that old shared one
Summer confessions come and gone
Autumn regrets linger in the waning light
Winter isolation aching in the dark
Spring death and life simultaneous
To worlds once won
Shine upon me as you did before
